STERLING SILVER

My chain maille bracelets are created using the finest sterling silver jump rings, and complimented with custom made, high quality clasps purchased from some of my favorite suppliers.  If you see a weave that you like, I can make it to whatever length you need; however, it may be with a different clasp, as some of the ones you see on my site are one of a kind.  I can email you some clasp options from which to choose.

Since the market price for sterling silver changes regularly, I do not post my retail prices on line.  Please contact me for a quote.

When cared for properly, your sterling silver bracelet will last a long time and elicit many  compliments from friends, family, and even strangers (trust me, it really happens!!).

It is no secret that sterling silver will tarnish over time, but you can restore to its original shine within minutes following one of the following steps:

Option #1
Mix a small amount of Tide powder detergent in a bowl of lukewarm water.  Place the bracelet in the mixture, leaving the decorative clasp hang off the edge to protect the stone, if there is one.  Let soak for 10-15 minutes, rinse thoroughly with cold water, and gently towel dry.

Option #2
Make a paste of baking soda and water and, with an old soft toothbrush, gently scrub the piece with the paste.  Use care around beads and stones as they can become scratched.  Rinse the bracelet thoroughly with water and towel dry.  NOTE: this method will produce a softer satin finish, as opposed to the high polish finish that you will get from Option #1.

Option #3
For a quick solution, clean using a silver polishing cloth.

NOTE:
To help avoid tarnish in the first place, try storing your sterling silver jewelry in plastic zip-top bags to minimize their exposure to the atmospheric compounds that promote oxidation.
